Bastion Accent Chair

Crate&Barrel - 2021

A tapered solid beech spindle frame paired with leather upholstered cushions. Much of the character comes through in the exaggerated taper and exposed "points" of the legs.

Leather armrests wrap around the frame to create an enveloping fit.

Materials: Kiln-dried solid beech, Sinuous wire suspension, Polyfoam cushioning, Leather.

Dimensions: 30"W x 33"D x 28.5"H

Process

The design process began with hand sketching and quickly moved to CAD in order to refine details, proportions, and construction.
