One of the first pieces I designed for Crate&Barrel. The table is designed around intersecting planes. Multiple materials are used to highlight certain components. Two brass panels protrude through the tabletop surface.
Material: Solid oak, Oak veneer, Brass
Dimensions (lrg): 109"W x 40"D x 29"H
Dimensions (sml): 89"W x 40"D x 29"H
The process began with hand sketching and quickly moved to CAD in order to refine details, proportions, and construction.
Sample iterations were made to refine connection points and integrate hidden hardware.
