Crate&Barrel - 2021

The collection is inspired by vintage solid wood construction infused with modern joinery details and proportions. The focal point is the corner joinery which references Japanese woodworking techniques.

Material: *FSC certified solid white oak and white oak.

Process

The process began with hand sketching and quickly moved to CAD in order to refine details, proportions, and construction.

the collection was finalized through rounds of sampling.
