House Forty Eight's Fall 20 collection features a range of modern accessories in sterling silver and 14k gold. New styles and fabrications are introduced including a lineup of silver and gold chains, cast textural rings, silver cuffs, and cast coin pendants. This collection also includes the release of the U-bolt series - our first time hand-threading sterling silver to create a functional closure.
Working predominately with prototypes, we developed the collection in a hands-on process before making small production batches. Every element of each piece we created was considered and thought-out down to the smallest detail. Each cast component was first hand-carved out of wax, then cast in metal. A portion of the chains were developed in collaboration with a production partner in Italy.
