Crate&Barrel - 2020

Designed around a linear, architectural outer frame which houses the seat and backrest. The blanket arm wraps around the frame and is secured with hidden tabs.

Material: Kiln-dried solid oak, Top-grain leather.

Dimensions: 29"W x 28.5"D x 31"H

Process

The process began with hand sketching and quickly moved to CAD in order to refine details, proportions, and construction.

The final sample was reviewed in person in China.
